Danger!

Stage four was, to say the least flat. Now, a flat stage is necessary in a stage race like this, and there were some beautiful stretches as usual along today’s route, but the first seventy or so miles were brutal for us. Through the farmland on our way to wine country, spectators were scarce (no population center for miles) and the scenery got a bit repetitive.
